There is not enough light coming through windows etc. As a Master Gardener... I help people every day with their seedlings that get all spindly even when places right in a window... but it really isn't enough. Either you have to set up your own light station with hanging grolux lights in fixtures that can be moved up and down or you have to buy a light station. Or go for the gusto and get a greenhouse. I hope your spring is wonderful!
