Hi all,

I write this blog post with a heavy heart but with happiness too. Thursday is my last day working at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. I am leaving this wonderful company to launch a new website called, I Am A Super Woman for singer Alicia Keys.

I was involved in an intense 2 month competition to get the job with Alicia Keys. Out of 8,500 applicants I was chosen as a top 60 finalist and had to create a bunch of video and regular blog posts. Then I became a top 10 finalist and I had to interview with 9 people in a boardroom including Alicia's mom and Ted Gilvar, the EVP of monster.com. After the round of interviews I became a top 3 finalist and flew to London to interview with Alicia and blog about her concert and non-profit, Keep a Child Alive, which helps give support and treatment to families and children affected with AIDS and HIV in Africa and India.

After my trip to London, I blogged for another month with the two other finalists until they announced the winner of the job at the end of June! They made the announcement on Good Morning America and I stood by Alicia's side as she talked about the new site that we're going to launch. It's all been very surreal and I'm still soaking everything in.

I'm thankful for the support system I received from my fellow sisters on this site -- you ladies commented on my blog posts and gave me such wonderful advice throughout this entire journey! I'm also so grateful for my experience with all the Dreamers -- Alicia was impressed with the work I have done here. And MSLO has been VERY SUPPORTIVE about my new job. I couldn't ask for a better and more encouraging group of women to be surrounded with! You helped me reach the stars and I'll never forget it!

So now you're probably wondering: OK, who is taking over the site now?! Caitlin Losey, community producer for MSLO will be managing the DID site for the time being. If you have any questions or concerns please send her a message on here or email her at dreamerseditor@marthastewart.com. I think you'll enjoy working and corresponding with her! And Dreamers, stay tuned for the big Dreamers into Doers event in 2011! Caitlin will keep you updated on this exciting event.
