Art Sale - Original, Handcrafted Art Jars and Vases

I decided to have an art sale on my etsy site.

The shipping reflects the true cost of mailing via the post office so I couldn't go lower on that, but I did drop the price of my art... some art jars are now $14.99, while others are $19.99, and still others are just $24.99 each...

Check it out!

Rustic Red Barn Wedding Collection

I have recently returned from a photo trip to Galena, Illinois which focused on rustic barns and beautiful green farms with rolling hills. I was in heaven! While there, I did take some photographs with the intent of creating some new Country Wedding Invitations. The Rustic Red Barn Wedding Collection is the first, but there…

Inspirational Interviews for your reading pleasure

I hate to say it but Blogger's search feature sucks! So I decided to put all my interviews in one central location. Took all morning, but I finally have them linked. So if you're interested in artist interviews, author interviews, literary agent interviews, or musician/songwriter interviews, you can just go here and look for the name of the person...

Delightfully Noted turns ONE! Birthday Giveaway & the Heartfelt Roots Behind DN

I remember one year today jumping for joy and proclaiming to the hubby that I finally posted my first item on Etsy! I had spent the previous three months spending every waking hour trying to teach myself graphic design {Trust me, it wasn’t always lollipops and unicorns, I recall a certain night that I flipped out because I couldn’t figure out how to use the software to draw a circle!} and…

Totes that Rock!

If you’re like me and always on the go, then you need a rocking tote that will get you from your morning client meeting to that evening happy hour with friends.

I’m on a mission to find that perfect tote (or two)!  It needs to be stylish (of course!) but functional.  Not too large but large enough to fit everything that I need for the day without being too bulky and awkward.  I found 10 totes that I love! To see my picks,…

Creating product images - the Brief.

Product imagery has never been so available for small to medium businesses to access. The cost is varied depending on where you go and which photographer you choose. However not all products are beautiful pieces of clothing or can be shot in a simply lighted studio. For a photographer, designer or stylist it is imperative for you the client to start firstly by writing a brief.

A brief is the image you have in your mind of how you want to see your product. This needs to be…

Free Gifts to Customers -- When to Give?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to think of ways to reward my customers and "surprise and delight" them. I've tried coupon inserts, but they seem to fall by the wayside. I'd like to try next a small physical gift, but then I started thinking... do I want to give this gift to *everyone* who places an order, or do I reserve them for my most loyal customers (who I definitely want to reward for their repeat business).

Thoughts?

Thanks!

peggy
