New Paint Kits!

Spring is almost here - or so I thought until the torrential downpour yesterday. But don't you feel like starting new projects when the seasons change?

I'm working on lots of fun DIY paint kits - spring flowers, bunnies, gardening, etc. The kits are designed for people with little to no painting experience. You just need some craft paints, brushes and paper or canvas.

I'd love for you to try one and give me your input. I'm posted step-by-step photos on my…

The Challenges of Working From Home

When God first called me off of my job to work full-time on GO Ministries and my writing, I thought that it was a dream come true. No established hours, no pesty supervisors hassling me and I could work in my pajamas if I wanted to. Needless to say, I was faced with a harsh reality check not long after I began my new adventure. The distractions are innumerable. Household chores, distracting phone calls and the need for volunteers at my children's school suddenly took…

Pinky Swear

.

I just finished a vintage Louis chair redo and I believe the technical term for this much tufting and this much pink on one chair is YOWZA!!!

I choose a pink linen for this vintage side chair and tufted it in 5

inch diamonds. It is a reproduction of French Louis chair circa 1970s

and I think it would be marvelous at a mirrored desk as shown or at a

swanky retro vanity. It's so gorgeous, it could just sit in… Continue

With the state of the economy and other trying situations at hand, many people are seeking guidance through spiritual advisors. The responsibility of psychic practitioners is great. In our opinion, those in possession of psychic gifts must use them ethically and with integrity. As firm believers in these statements, two of our Featured Advisors, Cheryl Anne and Allison, The Rock Girl of Best Psychic Team, covered this topic on a recent airing of their radio show, Psychic Channels. Below is a… Continue

Best American Psychics' March Psychic of the Month

With the beginning of March here, we would like to honor Lady Raven, our March Psychic of the Month. Lady Raven is an international psychic known for being one of the first psychics on the scene to merge the internet with the psychic world. She began life with a difficult childhood and has had several near death experiences. These experiences helped her to grow and understand her mission here on this plane. She is a multi-business owner and an active animal advocate. Lady Raven has been said to… Continue

Hard Day

I had one of those days. It started around 6:15 PM yesterday, so I am hoping that it is now over, just like the 24 hour flu. But it prompted me to b**** and moan, and inventory a bunch of my personal pet peeves. Somehow writing them down really does make you feel better! So Read 'Em and Peep...I want to hear yours too!

PS. Remember, it was a bad day. I don't want anyone playing devil's advocate. That's what my hubby is for...

Something to Bark About...

I must admit, the buzz Martha created for bulldogs inspired me to try my hand at sculpting a few of my own. They are certainly unique creatures with all of their folds and wrinkles, but the subject matter makes for quite the whimsical character. Throw in a little orange and black and some Halloween imagery, and voila, you have something to bark about!…

Evolution

At midnight on February 1st, I celebrated my oldest child's 21st birthday at a small local bar in the Philadelphia burbs. (Fortunately, back in my day, we didn't have to wait so long to get a drink!)…
