Thank you for your comment Lenie! The Hatz program is pretty awesome and the most exciting thing is how excited people are to help and get involved with it. Your words are encouraging. Have a wonderful week. Ellie & Jodie.
My husband just finished his battle with cancer. One of the most difficult things for him was losing his hair. I can only imagine what young girls feel, when they have lost their hair. You have indeed, touched young girl's in a way that they will ...

What's Your Passion That You'd Like To Turn Into a Business?
To make every girl feel special by throwing creative parties for creative girls! We help girls explore their imaginations and create one of a kind handmade items they will cherish for years to come. Our parties include creating items for every major area of a modern girls life; the jewelry box, the bedroom, fashions to wear and the bathroom. We encourage girls to turn off the tube, (Except if Martha is on!) look away from the computer, power off the video games and MAKE SOMETHING AWESOME! www.theglittergirlz.etsy.com www.facebook.com/theglittergirlz www.lifeissparkly.blogspot.com
Thank you Glitter Girlz for wanting to be my friend. I think you ideas are great and I am glad you focus on creativity rather then all the tec. stuff. Thanks, Laura Hall
Thanks so much for writing. I am more than happy to spread the word. I'll send an email to some friends later tonight introducing you to their site. I know how important referrals are, trust me girlfriend!!! ( :
I love the idea of a center for where girls can do their creative projects. I am an artist (and former art school director) myself, so creativity is close to my heart. Please feel free to email me via the YourStory address to keep me posted.
I am not sure if you are aware of this, but Wheaton, has a small grant program for businesses. I can send you the link if you're interested.
Oh, and thanks for the kudos on the YourStory site. We're having a lot of fun doing what we love!
Hello girls:) I am new at this, but I think you all wish me well. Thank you for that. Where you talking about my story? If so, thank you:) In this comment wall-not all posts are adressed to me,right?I was very glad to be invited and I joined. I wish everyone all the best. I am just not sure if I understand how it works...So for example, Karen, were you talking to me?Isabel, you adressed your post ,Hey Ellie-so this wasn't for me right? Beth, did you look at my halinastories website, or am I wrong?Sorry, I am lost... I have writen a book and since it was published via self-publisher, I am fighting-trying to get an agent to introduce me and my story to traditional publisher-it is not easy. That's why I am so lost. Trying to reach Martha Stewart Book Club, Editors, Staff... Being invited to this group, I felt, somebody has actually noticed me. Maybe you have...Thank you again. Best wishes for all:)
What you do looks super fun, but it's also VERY important. I work with kids & let me tell you I've watched many girls start heading down the wrong path. It's sooooo important that they can discover their passion & plug into it. Too often, they just aren't given the opportunity to express their creativity & it's so magical to watch them discover their talents. I do a workshop page where I post projects for fellow teachers & parents (trying to encourage them to create things with their girls) and would LOVE to link up with ya'll or feature you or something on there. Kudos =)
