Hello everyone!  I'm honored to be here!  I worked in a bank for 26 years and retired as a senior vice president at 50 years old.  It was time to honor another calling.  I wanted to lift spirits through photography.  I became interested in photography in college when I was editor of the yearbook. 

When I left the bank about 5 years ago, I traveled to Africa, New Zealand, Great Britain and other lovely places.  When I returned from my travels, I was fortunate to be given personal photography shows at local banks, botanical gardens, restaurants, etc.  I loved stained glass and learned the craft many years ago.  I decided to make stained glass frames for my some of my photos and began selling them as well (I posted a few of them).   

I have now branched out  to other forms of photography such as portrait work, website photographs, weddings, etc.  I also do a lot of volunteer work for the Va Beach Mounted Patrol and local businesses.  Recently, I began taking some local fashion photographs and now I realize that I like that too!  I know I need to really focus on one thing but I love it all!! 

I am only starting on this photography adventure and it isn't a booming, lucrative business at this point.  However; each day I am so very thankful and joyful that I have another day to take photographs.  I will keep you posted on my progress.
