Yes! Dreams can be personal. Dreams can be professional, Dreams can be about making the world a better place (perhaps something like this motivated you to start your nonprofit). Dreams can be big, Dreams can be what other people might think are or...
What's Your Passion That You'd Like To Turn Into a Business?
My new passion relates to creating a world where everyone is and everyone knows they are welcomed and empowered to contribute. After turning my passion for inclusion into a national nonprofit that has helped more than 135 communities in 25 states create inclusive playgrounds, turning the leadership of this nonprofit over to its Board and CEO, and hearing Martha Stewart say I was the grand prize winner of the 2008 Dreamers Into Doers award, I have started Powerful Inspiration, a company dedicated to inspiring and coaching people to find their own unique strengths, realize what really matters to them and how to translate both into a life of success and significance.
Hi Amy,
Congratulations! The grand prize winner of the 2008 Dreamers Into Doers award was well chosen! How fabulous to see that you have continued with you wonderful life's work.

You are too gracious and I thank you for making my day. I am facing many challenges at this juncture of my life but I am determined to continue the course I have set with dedication and hopefulness. I have always believed that surrounding a child with beauty and creativity inspired them to nurture and protect that which is created, to appreciate life. I llook forward to seeing that vision unfold in a more significant way. Warm regards,
Nastassia
hello Amy,
For many years I had taught intergenerational art classes to preschoolers and seniors. Having had the good fortune of growing up close to my grandmother and many aunts, I believe strongly that learning is lifelong. When my two partners first approached me with the idea of making kits that would provide "everything you need" to learn real art techniques and concepts at home (not the typical kit with a pre-determined product), I joined them to create Eye Can Art.
As you know, the path of entrepreneurship is strewn with obstacles, but with luck and stamina we keep each other going. Thanks so much for asking. Amy!
