Sweet Treats

I just love to make sweet treats. Cakes, cupcakes, chocolates, cookies, cheescake. What do you like to make? Lets share photos and discuss our triumphs. Perhaps we can also help others with the "how to" questions when they run in to difficulty.

Hey Meagan!  Thanks for checking out my site. I haven't made cake pops yet, but I will be sharing a post from one of my contributors soon. If you are ever interested in writing a guest post, let me know. Your cake pops are awesome and it would be a cool way to get the word out about your  biz. :-) Just send me an e-mail if you are interested; tamara@jemofthesouth.com.

Love the cake going with the theme. I am so a theme person. And banana cake? Yum!!

@Tamara - Thank you!! I love your website. I also followed you on Pinterest. Can't wait to get inspiration for new recipes from your site. I like to try and pair the cake I use with the design of my pops. For example, banana cake in a monkey pop, or apple cake in an apple pop. Just gives that extra something IMO. Thanks again and keep the ideas coming!

Hey Meagan! The best place to start is at the beginning! :-) I will check out your FB page. I am a dessert educator and have dessert recipes, tips and trends featured in my site, www.jemofthesouth.com. Check it out when you have time to find some inspiration. I also host a blog talk radio show where I interview dessert biz owners, you can listen to past shows via www.blogtalkradio.com/jemofthesouth.

Best Wishes!

Hi everyone - I'm still in the dreamer phase of opening a bakery out of my home. I am an accountant by day, but I get endless joy out of baking. I am planning on starting off with cake pops (since they are so popular right now). But I hope to branch out and do all sorts of sweet treats. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I have started a FB page under the name Cooke Confections. Feel free to stop by! Thanks again.
