@Susan & Debbie, Thanks so much for the kind words.

Lampshade pin- thanks! I will actually be demoing the lampshade on an upcoming episode of Cool2Craft TV in March.  How old are your girls? I have a few easy projects on the blog that I am sure could be fun to create with them.

Great idea Jennifer! My business is in healthier living, but my heart is in serving others.I do sew and have an abundance of fleece and flannel fabric that I've sewn into baby blankets.  I would love to help and donate some items for the families.

Okay ladies, I have a project for us all. I have a dear friend that lives in Harveyville, Kansas where one of the tornado hit last night. I am wanting to get something organized from any of you to get blankets or stuffed animals or the like for the children in the town. I crochet blankets and I am donating some that I already have made, if you make an item with your business that is for children or babies and you would like to donate one, or if you would like to help in any way please email me at twistedstitches.wilhelm@gmail.com

I grew up in tornado country and know all too well the destruction that these brings to the lives of small children.

Hello!! New to the group but not to stitching. After many years designing for Corp America, I jumped shipped and starting my own thing.  Now, I create easy to follow "how to's" and patterns for others to create.  Love it!

Hi Leah.

Thank you! Most of the fabric I use is spanish upholstery fabric from KA International (Google it). It's rather expensive so I usually buy small pieces, left overs.
