Lydia - what a simple but cute idea to put the doughnuts on a stick - so clever!  Scrolled down a bit and saw that really creative chameleon party - LOVED it!

Lastly, the spiderella idea is really fun.  If I have some black tissue paper I'm going to try it out with my girls later today.  Great idea!
