Are there any party planners in Houston?  I am looking to partner with someone to send busines to.  Childrens parties and chic events...

Just wanted to share a link to my Gingerbread Man Party I had for my girlfriends.  It was a pretty laid back evening, but we all had a great time!

My latest party, a Sugar Plum Fairy themed birthday party, is up!  I'm delighted and honored to have had it debuted by The TomKat Studio, and I'm now starting to put up the full posts (many pictures and details and tutorials!) on my own blog.  I hope you enjoy it, and I always appreciate constructive criticism!

Hey, everyone!

I FINALLY posted the menu from the dinner party we had for my husband's birthday.  I made sure to include the recipes.  I hope you will head over and check it out.  The theme was "Favorite Foods" which is why the menu seems to be all over the place.

Before you do anything, have you checked to see if there's a business operating under that name already? Check uspto.gov first to see if there are any registered marks and then figure out if you're doing the infringing or if they are. Perhaps someone just bought the domain intending to sell it--that certainly happens--but it's better to do the research ahead of time and not run into trademark problems once you're already established. You don't want to be slapped with a cease and desist letter, have to hire lawyer, perhaps change your business name and rebrand. This is a good warning sign--research it thoroughly before you do anything else.

Lovely Little Parties....I had the same problem. To get www.TheSweetestThing.com was going to cost me over $6000!!! No way! So, I altered it a bit and made it TheSweetestThingCookies.com My friend at Dandy Delights also could not get hers, so she did ILoveDandyDelights.com. I agree, the .com adds legitimacy I think. You could do WeThrowLovelyLittleParties.com or LovelyLittlePartysforyou.com or Lovely_Little_Parties.com, lovely.little.parties.com, lovelylilparties.com, etc... You get the idea. See if you can tweak it just a bit and get what you want.

Hello all!
A note for the children's party planners who throw fairy themed parties. One Kings Lane is having a fantastic sale today on the Coffee and Tea brand butterfly demitasse sets that I use for my fairy themed parties. Set of 6 cups and saucers for $15 is an absolute steal! My clients love them - the detail is gorgeous, and they are the perfect size for little hands. They are also becoming hard to find. *You must register to shop through OKL. Just wanted to pass along a great bargain. Have a good day!
