Welcome everyone!

Dogs have always been part of my life, but for the last 40+ years, they have been the beautiful white arctic breed, the Samoyed. The cute puppy that you see in the avatar above is now 8 years old but still lovable. I hope that you will share information about your beloved pets as well. Here is a picture of Brigid all grown up.

How many pets do you have? And what kind? I wanna hear about them!

I have two dogs, a Chihuahua and a Chi mix, two cats, a bunny and a couple of squirrels.  One gray squirrel and a couple of flying squirrels.  Of course, the squirrels live in cages-we've raised them…Continue

I am sure that all the DID'er are celebrating with Martha the fact that her wonderful young Chow won the breed judging at the Westminster Kennel Club yesterday. I can tell you as a person who has spent most of her life showing dogs, that this is a day that Martha will never forget.

Hello, all. I'm new here and just discovered your wonderful group. I thought I'd share a favorite photo of my Emily. All my dogs are featured on The Pink Home blog at this link: http://thepinkhome.blogspot.com/p/favorites.html.

I have a Pom her name is Fee-fi. She is 2 years old. She is sweet and lovable and means the world to me.

If any of you pet lovers happen to be attending Stitches East, the knitting conference in Hartford, CT, be sure to look me up. My booth is (725) and I will have all my books and patterns and sweaters, etc. Plus, this year, I will also have yarn all natural American alpaca yarn because I'm working with the people from the Cottage Industry Alpaca Breeders Association. Fabulous natural yarn from American alpaca farms plus my designs - tons of fun! Stitches East runs from Oct. 20 - 23 in the Convention Center in Hartford.

Jean, Hadn't seen that before. How sweet. Michelle, welcome! Peggy, thanks for sharing the video, and you're right :-)

Peggy, that video reminded me of Will Wegman's classics with his Weinmaraners, especially ManRay.

I can't find the one I really wanted to share, where he keeps asking ManRay if he wants to go here or there, so instead I'll share this one, The Spelling Quiz -- still lots of good head tilts.
