I live in Dallas. I think I will make my way to GETTYSBURG first and travel with Jolene.
Week of 18th Jan works for me.
The dates for New York would be 19/20/21 for the show as these are the taping days.....
So do we have more than 3 yes's for this week??

Wow, Ladies! I can most likely do the NYC trip (depending on the dates), but won't be able to extend the trip to WV and PA. I'm coming from Iowa, so will need to start looking at flights, etc. Do we have a lead on accomodations? I've been to NYC once - and that was about 20 yeras ago....so will need some recommendations on hotels, etc. THANKS!!! I'm so excited and look forward to meeting everyone!

Rachel, Jolene and other DID going to NYC members,
I agree after reading the last comments that maybe just NYC for two days? I am sorry I missed the gals in the North West and West Coast, in my comment before. I love the TP idea! We have so much to do and digest that NYC for this first get-together sounds good to me. And, I have never been to New York City. If we, as a collective group, want to plan another DID meeting later in the year in say, one in Central WV, and one in Gettysburg, PA, I will bring packets of brochures as I am sure Jolene can also. Possibly, if enough other dreamers get on our tank (for you Jolene), Martha might come to our locations? Or, do a live feed from our locations into her program. I plan to talk with the WV director of tourism and our other state officals to see what hospitality the Great State of WV can offer us.

Good Golly Ms. Molly's LLC~~WV Sspecialty Foods is in tears at this moment. If you read my previous comments--I wanted to share this moment with my sister, best friend, and marketing person for my products. This week for those of you just tuned in is her, my sister's "Big 60" Birthday celebration. To explain further--she is asking me about who is paying for what? Is this date secured, Have you received offical notification of your being on the show. I need more info everyone! I need the offical invitation from yours truly--Martha Stewart! I cannot plan or confirm "IF" . SHe, my eldest sister, is right-Alexis, Are we actually a 10-4 or on this or not? I do not question Jolene's transmission or Rachel's...Just trying to figure it all out.

Bottom line all you NYC DID's--This is an expense for my business that I am willing to take a risk but need a lot more clarification form the powers that be--Omnimedia. (Please do not take offense). Dreamers.....any dates of availability in January for traveling to Martha Show? Hope to pass our proposal on for seating availability nlt Wednesday 11/11/09. Week of Jan 18-22, 2010 has already received three approving votes thus far. Would hope to accomodate all Dreamers with dates, especially CA, mid-west and Canada travelling long distances.

Two Dreamers are departing from Gettysburg enroute to Harrisburg (State Capitol), PA and taking AmTrak to NY once date finalized. Anyone wishing to accompany, please let us know! Jolene offering Bungalow dates for accomodation as mid-way.

<<b>b>Determine your arrival times and dates, and from there, we'll submit ourselves to serious consideration of an overnight stay in NY and of a meeting with speakers, demonstrations and a bit of food sampling and networking and sharing. These meetings could ocur on the first or second day of a NY Stay.

If anyone is wanting overnight accomodations, we will be glad to offer a few reliable and comfortable overnight venues. Possibly, a few of our own New Yorkers and travelers in the Group can offer a reasonable and costly alternative for lodging, in addition.

A Note: Most likely, by all input, on this Group Thread, it appears dreamers are making Martha Show the one or two day goal of meeting and saving PA and West VA for later meeting, if interest warrants.

That week in January is fine for me. I hope to have a friend travel with me, we will be in need of overnight lodging. Because of needing to travel by air, we would most likely fly in the day before, attend the Marth Show, then fly out the next day...or the following, depending on the meeting plans of the group. Looking forward to it!!

I have already put in a request to a New York hotel for a special group rate through my husbands work. My husband works for Llyods of London and they get really good hotel rates..........So that being said...SEND ME YOUR EMAIL....
That way, we can address all questions collectively.
